Decade of Ruin (C64)
A downloadable game
New demo-version of the Decade of Ruin is now avaliable in both English and Russian!
Play as a survivour in the ruined Sovia country!
Try to protect humanity from unknown threat. People simply call them Demons.
Fight enemies with 8 different weapons!
Explore maze-like levels, look for the keys and secrets!
Communicate with other desperate people and immerse into the lore!
Note: As this is the demo version of the game, there are no sounds. Moreover, there is only one level that is set in a loop (after completing it, player will be thrown back to the beginning).
How to Play:
You can play it on the real hardware with disk drive emulator e.g. SD2IEC. Or you can use emulator (Vice is the best option). PAL version of the Commodore 64 is preffered. But I don't guarantee compability with any of the Commodore 64 ports (like Commander X16, Ultimate Commodore, etc.)
How to Launch:
Attach disk image and print on the main screen: LOAD "*",8,1 or LOAD "DOR",8,1 and press Return. Then type in RUN and press Return again.
Controls:
You can play both with Keyboard and Joystick in port 2.
Keyboard controls.
You can change controls on the Setup screen. To open it press F1. Use arrows to select action and then press any key to define it to that action.
Default controls:
- WASD - Move (yourself, scope, map)
- K - Use, Attack, Defend
- O - Use MedKit
- P - Use ArmorKit
- I - Change inventory zone
- Q/E - Select onscreen button
- Return - Activate onscreen button
- M - Open map
- 1-8 - Select weapon
- F1 - Setup screen
F3 - Sound on/off- F5 - Save game
- F7 - Load game
Joystick contols.
- Direction - Move (yourself, scope, map)
- Fire - Use, Attack, Defend
- Fire + Up - Open map (Not in Fight)
- Fire + Left - Use ArmorKit (Not if Fight)
- Fire + Right - Use MedKit (Not if Fight)
- Fire + Down - Change inventory zone.
Future Updates:
- At least 7 levels with 64 unique textures per level!
- Music and sounds!
- Many types of enemies with different parameters!
- Unexpected plot twists !

Very cool to see, for these kind of demanding projects I personally recommend targeting CART storage and the REU (if it will help).

В Vice еще можно выбрать File - Smart attach... Там выбрать файл и нажать Autostart.
А после второго Ready еще надо Run ввести. Сейчас уточню в описании
